As a collaboration with the developer of Heritage Oaks, CDH optimized the 10.1-acre site into a new 118-assisted living unit community with more than 60 parking spaces to support the mobility of the residents. The design also includes a 32-unit neighborhood dedicated to memory care.

Located in one of the more desirable areas of Charlotte County, Florida, the property is near world-class healthcare, cultural venues, fine shopping, and dining. The design team at CDH provided a comprehensive interior plan that configured the community spaces to be open and serve as the residents’ family room promoting social interaction. The innovative design gives residents’ indoor and outdoor spaces for meeting, entertaining, arts and crafts, wellness, dining, developing computing skills, and recreation. Rich and durable finish materials were used throughout the buildings. Natural light and ease of access to the outdoor amenities is augmented with LED lighting to create and sustainable environment.

With the stimulations for the mind and body, the community offers a healthy and more meaningful lifestyle for the residents, visitors, and staff.
