Wellstar Health System, one of Atlanta’s leading medical care providers, sought an innovative approach to the typical outpatient medical office building. The first of these multi-specialty facilities was the Acworth Health Park.

This bright and contemporary healthcare site offers Physician offices such as Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Cardiovascular medicine, Family Practice, and Sleep Center. The hospital based modalities include an Outpatient Lab, diagnostic imaging, urgent care, and physical therapy. The mission style construction creates a warm and engaging experience for staff and visitors. CDH along with Wellstar developed a Lean design that optimizes shared spaces and standardizes exam rooms and departments for maximum usability and flexibility. The thoughtful and creative use of natural finishes, patterns and textures contribute to the overall calming and welcoming atmosphere.
